This is one of my older shots that required a lot of work. I used Topaz In focus to reduce the effect of slow shutter speed and wind, Topaz Detail for pre-sharpening detail. The K10D is known for noisy images so I applied Neat image to selectively remove noise from the BG. Finall I used TK's Make It Glow and sharpening for the web add ons for final edits. K10D 180mm f3.5 (1/60 sec at f10, ISO 400)

Nice pose and detail. Beautiful soft bg. It was worth all the work. Nicely done!

Good work. Sometimes it is necessary and worthwhile—as here! :toast:

It looks like you put a lot of work into this image, and the results are excellent. I particularly like the excellent detail in the head/eyes. The body is also very sharp, but not unnaturally so. :toast:

Another one of these red beauties with fine sharpness along the body posed nicely against a lovely background, Jim.

Excellent, Jim. A very nice array of vibrant but natural looking colors makes this a striking image. Excellent comp and dof management as well. :toast:
