Harmonious Colors

I took this image at Green Cay Wetlands yesterday morning. It was pretty quiet/slow at Green Cay and Wakodahatchee but I'm always happy to be fortunate enough to make the trip and get some many pictures with such little effort. After having visited these places quiet a few times over the past few years I was able to focus on some different types of shots.

**Processed on my laptop only in LR so might not be as sharp or technically perfect as I would like.

Nicely composed with great light color. Interesting perch. The heron really pops off the background. Nice work.

Everything really comes together here. The details in the heron are good. Nice diagonal perch and lovely background.

I love the color palette in this one. The perch is great also. No nits from me at all. Great shot.

gosh, this is nice, Luke. you said it about the colors--I love how the greens and browns of the bird are echoed in the perch and bg. really nice pose and a nice comp as well. I think when you get home to your regular monitor you may want to add a bit more sharpening. Hope that you enjoy Florida--I need to get back there someday!

I love the perch that he is on, and the soft background really sets off the bird beautifully. Very nice.
