Essence of Winter

Hi, new to the forum - living and working in Germany (not as a photographer ;-) - see the 'about' section on my website) I thought I would start with a very recent shot from the Allgäu/Germany. A single shot / single exposure 'abstract' meant to catch the the feeling of 'winter'.

SD1M / CZ Distagon 21mm / f22 / 4 sec. PP in Sigma SPP61 then ACR and PS5

Post processing: Simply colour adjustment (to a slightly cool B/W) + contrast / sharpening and removal of pin-cushion distortion caused by the WA-lens movement. Unlike many images of this type I was very keen to retain not just a hint of very clear detail but also that within this detail any 'doubling' should not be obvious giving the effect of a multiple exposure (of which the SD1M is not capable).
