Last light while running a photo tour in Scotland. It was nearly dark when I made this image. The dark presentation suited the mood of the location for me.
Camera: Nikon D800E
Lens: 24-70 mm f/2.8
Shot at 24 mm
Exposure: Manual exposure, 30 sec, f/9, ISO 100, Compensation: -1/3
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Definitely dark and moody, Peter, yet there's good clarity in the foreground and the ridge on the right. Having the distant peaks fading into the darks adds a fine sense of depth.

Moody Mordor for sure. The FG is sweet, too. I'd love to see a larger version. Hard to say at this size but there could be a bit of haloing around the ridge on the right and there is a single spot of sensor dust just above it.

very moody image and light. I'm struggling with the imbalance a bit.
