Beautiful light and colors - I wonder if you can bring up the shadows a bit, so as to get some detail in the structures?

I agree, I would like a little more detail in the buildings... not much just enough to see the lighthouse. Great colors in the sky and reflection in the water. Another alternative would be to crop the cloud on the right, it looks like smoke.

Looks like a fine way to start a year photographically, Tony. The subtle colors in the sky and their reflections are lovely and the human elements add good interest in the shadows. Yes, pulling just a hint more detail out of the shadows would help. If you're a Photoshop user (and possibly if you're a PS Elements user) you should check out Tony Kuyper's web site. He offers some excellent tips for burning and dodging specific tonalities in an image and I think those would work well here for increasing visibility in the dark areas without turning the blacks into greys.

Beautiful color in the sky and reflection, but I agree that I would like to see more detail in the structure. Also the cloud to the right is a bit distracting.

Nice color and mood. I agree with the others about bringing up the detail in the darks. I'm not sure how much you can do in that regard without those areas becoming noisy and/or having a false tonality. Nice beginning to 2015!
