A Mink's Hunting Ground

After seeing mink tracks along this stream in the woods, I was delighted to find them where the stream flowed through this open wetland. I have much better shots of the tracks, but not in such a picturesque setting. (Reprocessed an older image, deepening the shadows.)

I like the gentle curves and forms in this image. Nicely done. Maybe just a tad darker if anything. It seems to me that you have two images in one. I think you could crop off the open water and still have a very nice winter scene. Thanks for sharing.

Picturesque scene Wayne. You've used the snow mounds and rolling shadows well to create visual interest across the image - the mink tracks an extra bonus.

Love that your tripod has snowshoes too!

You've got some great textures here Wayne and the gentle shadows add a lot to the sense of depth. I also really like that the shadows and trees in the distance haven't gone totally black, for me, that adds an interesting touch of "warmth".

Hi Wayne :wavey: That stream certainly produced some delightful and rhythmic curves in this fascinating monochromatic winter scene.

Love this :toast: You might try cutting the top at the snowline. It would surely enhance the incredible shadows, rolls and curves!
