Oregon Coast.
A large Cauldron on the cliffs of the Pacific with two Sea caves at the bottom that cause an eruption effect in large winter storms (It is a State Park and a well visited attraction to the top view parking lot).
It can be accessed from the beach in low calm ocean tides which is what I did.
I am standing at the bottom of the 100 foot cauldron looking out the sea cave to the Pacific Ocean.

I like the colors and patterns in the rocks. Seen it from above many times, but its been decades since I've been below. I wonder how it would look at an even slower speed; if I can manage to get down below, I'll have to give it a try.

I really like the dark and warm tones on the rocks - they are the perfect frame for the incoming water.

Nice scene! Is that orange part caused by lichens, or is it the rocks natural color? I am just a bit torn about the large chunk of relatively even rock on the upper left, maybe crop a bit to give a 4x5 format? I think the shutter speed looks pretty spot on.

Dan, there is a lot going on for me and I like to explore the whole composition. The larger view gives me an idea of standing in the middle of the scene.

This is really sweet, Dan. The large view is phenomenal. Love the detail and the feeling that I have been teleported to the beach. Very nice. :toast:

Wow, what a difference between the large and small versions. The big one really pops with wonderful colors, detail, textures and lines. Very nice.

Looks like a cool spot. I like those textures in the cliff walls. Don't know what the safety issues are but I think some water movement over those foreground rocks would be neat as you've probably made the most of the composition here.

Love the large version, so my only suggestion would be to print it BIG! Nice work, Dan
