This is a slightly different image from the first post. I agree with the comments about #1 being too dark, and as I looked at it I decided I had cropped too much off of the sky. Comments appreciated.

Having weighed in on the original, I'd better comment on the followup since I suggested lightening up the foreground. Overall, I'd go with the original. I liked the pano crop and the house being nicely spotlighted. I think with this shot there is too much emphasis on the sky, taking away from the main focus of the shot.

This is a gorgeous photograph, John, the colors and tonal range work perfectly in my view, and I like the "big sky" composition. There are noticeable halos around the vehicles and evergreens - perhaps can be fixed by decreasing sharpness a bit? A minor nit, anyway.

Very cool image, John! Definitely screams Heartland to me. Wonderful colours and tones and I love the foreground field. The sky does seem a bit dim and warm on my monitor, but it also seems that you caught those final moments of low, warm light here, so I'm just observing more than suggesting a change.

Classic rural scene! I like it. I prefer the full pano of the first and the processing of this one.
