I found this grove of trees in NW Louisiana along I-49 a few weeks ago, same location as the last under cloudy conditions.

Nice composition, Bill I like the detail in the reflection and the Spanish Moss. I wonder if you could get a tad more contrast in the mid tones? The bare branches have a nice feel to them.

I really like how you captured the beautiful shape of the cypresses, and the reflections are perfect. The subtle colors are also very beautiful. I agree that a bit more contrast would work, but perhaps that would be a very different picture, with a different message? Would be nice to see the two options next to one another! :toast:

Respectfully disagree with the previous comments. Bill you have a very nice gallery but to be frank, this image just doesn't belong amongst your finer works. It's too cluttered, feels kind of flat and I can't come up with any suggestions to make it more interesting. Sorry for being so blunt.

The composition is fine but the overall presentation is very flat. It really needs some contrast work.

Nice composition and a lot of detail. I also would like more contrast. I think that and more tonal separation would add a lot of depth to the scene.

I like the composition of the cypress trees Bill, and I feel the same as the other comments regarding contrast in this image.
