I had a great year of travel and photo opportunities, but shooting my Mom's 92 birthday portrait in her backyard was the hit of the year. Getting ready to hit the road for Christmas with her and hope for many more.

Merry Christmas to all :wavey:

A charming lady. People portraits are not something I do often, so no serious comments. I do like the setting your mother is in, and the BG shows her well. Nice image. Thanks for sharing.

It's a great shot of your mom, Rick. The crossed hands with rings makes a fine secondary focal point. She looks to be doing very well for 92

Lot of great men here who love their Mom. Melba is 92 and now live wit 24 hr care due to many small strokes that keep her from walking much at all.,
I try to see her in Houston once a month at least. Packing my sleigh right now.

Merry Christmas :jump:

Very nice portrait Rick, your mom should be pleased. Her apparently good health, alertness, and pleasant personality really come through.
