OH WOW,.......looks like my first dog from a shelter years ago. His name was Lobo. He was the smartest critter as well as a great companion and guard dog too.

Congratulations here Howard on your newest family member, a true beauty. :toast:

Hey Howard,
She has some big shoes or should I say paw prints to fill but looks and sounds like she is up to the task.
Merry Christmas to you and your entire family who we have come to know in a small way thru your images. :wavey:

How long did she stay in this pose, or how many blurred shots you had to throw away? Best wishes to you too!

Matilda's first Christmas, just in time for the holidays, Howard. Mike beat me to the "big paws to fill" comment, but I bet Matilda will come through. Beautiful puppy. Happy Holidays to you and yours. :wavey:

Howard,
What a wonderful Christmas present. There is nothing better than a puppie under the tree. Wait, not under the tree! Lovely photo, thanks for sharing your family with us. :toast:

Adorable! Looks like you have a fine pup, there. Alert and watchful already. At age 3, my poodle still loves untying my shoes. I think he's the eternal puppy– just full of joy and hijinks, then settles in to work as a fine Service Dog, when I need him to do that. Lucky us! for our relationships with our pets. May Matilda enjoy many, many more Christmases with you, Howard!

I did this portrait outside under a solid overcast, she rarely stayed put for more than a few seconds Jim.
One hand one the cam, the other snapping fingers
