A Real Beauty

I came across this doe the other day and just got this one image of her. I was impressed by how sleek her coat was. When I looked over the photo on the computer screen, I was doubly impressed by how healthy this gal looked. Nice full, well shaped body. This doe was about as close to perfection as I've seen on the preserve. So enjoy a pre-Christmas treat. I did very little to prepare this for posting. The major change was to crop this to about 60% of the original. Too much veg otherwise. A small increase in the color temp, some additional contrast, clarity, and vibrance and I was done. That was easy. Your comments and critiques would be most welcome.

Good one Peter! She is a good looking doe. I do find the brush right under her to be a bit of a distraction, but not too much. Like the pose she is in. I would also suggest cropping more off of the bottom about where the brush in the center is. Thanks for sharing.

The ladies are indeed pretty also. They don't always have to have antlers to be photo worthy. Some of my best shots are of does, but the images don't elicit the same response as do the big bucks. I'd crop it a little closer if you have the pixels. Beautiful doe.
