Grizzly Bear
by Richard Sandor
I visited the Khutzyemateen Preserve this past May with Brad Hill. It's quite an experience to be on eye level with a mature grizzly as well as being close enough to that bear to hear it rip off the grass as it feeds. It's just about then you start to hope that the Bear Whisperers who acclimated the bears to humans really knew what they were doing.
Here's an example of one of those close encounters. In this photo I was trying to show the mass as well as the detail of the bear and what it was doing. Comments appreciated. Richard

Well done. Most people do not realize that bears consume everything including lots of plant material. I like the details in the face and the grass sticking out of the bear's mouth
