Delicate Arch Gigarama

For this image I wanted to capture a panorama of the whole southern horizon from Delicate Arch. This image is made up of 60 images captured on my Canon 5Diii using 70-200mm IS 2.8 lens at 148mm, f-13, 1/30th sec and ISO 100. The panorama was done using Gigapan Epic Pro. Stitching was done with Kolor Autopano Giga 3.7.

Original Image is:
576 Megapixels
12000 x 48000 pixels
40" x 160" 300 dpi

The Nature Photographers image is typically much flatter than actual image. Clicking the Purchase Print (no purchase necessary) will take to you to a page on my web site. Then clicking on the image will take you to a high resolution viewer. That view gives a much better representation of the contrast and saturation in the image. Rolling your mouse wheel or clicking on + icon at bottom of the screen will zoom into the image.

C&C appreciated.

I like the different look at Delicate Arch. Great detail. The major nit I have is that I wish that there were some light on the arch to spot light it more.

This is a lovely image and I really like the big panoramic take on this famous scene but like Richard said, some light on the arch is the one thing that would truly put this one over the top.

Richard and Joe,
I agree that better light on the arch would be great. Apparently, in early April the sun doesn't hit the arch until later in the morning. The day I shot this, about 30 minutes after I shot this series, the clouds moved in and covered the sun and the rest of the day was overcast.
