Very colorful flowers Gary, but the low perspective kinda blocks the mnts a little. Maybe a higher view would be more predictable, but I do miss the depth created by looking over the flowers a little more.

Beautiful scene with the Fireweed in the foreground with the river and mts behind. I do agree that a higher view would also make a nice image. Well done Chet

It takes looking at the larger version to let the fireweed take center stage here, Gary. That version shows some fine colors in the flowers. I think a pano crop, with a lot less sky helps emphasize the fireweed in this view.

The colors look great in this image Gary, and they have such a vibrant and fresh feel about them. I think the flowers are shown off nicely, but I guess I want a bit higher perspective to gain some depth. I agree with Harry that is more predictable, but I find myself looking for it.
Regardless, this image works for me.

Gary, This is really a nice view and I especially like the feel you captured here. There is such a crisp and fresh look which makes this very inviting. I think the sky with those clouds really add to this and makes for a great finishing touch. I do understand the thoughts on a little higher view but it works nice for me as you have it. Quite possible you couldn't get any higher right here as well.

Gary, I think I'm in the higher perspective camp. the scene and the colors are very nice.......I just feel a little blocked.

A sure winner in my book. Enjoy the foreground of fireweed that enhances the dramatic scene.

It's unconventional, but I like that the flowers block a somewhat uninteresting middle ground. I'd be tempted to clone out where the flower tips break out over the mountatins. Well done.

I think I am in the higher vantage camp, too. However, I do like the scene as is: I feel like I'm sitting on a rock just taking it all in. I might be tempted to crop from the left to eliminate the bright plant in lower left corner. The color and the exposure look very nice, Gary.

I like this as is, but I would be curious to see this with a higher POV for comparison, Gary. I like the splash of color with the fireweed along with those white fluffy clouds. Nicely done.
