Fish Netting

I was down at the harbor last night, messing around near the fishing fleet. I found this fish netting rolled up on a drum on the back of one of the boats.

Both the dock I was standing on and the boat were moving quite a bit (in opposite directions). So just for yuks, I cranked the ISO to 4000. The noise is definitely there, but not as awful as I thought it would be. The subject matter here does a nice job of camouflaging it.

Beautifully detailed textures, and the layering of the nets make this a most attractive abstract, Harley. Nicely seen !

I think this looks real nice, Harley. The detail and color are both excellent.

Ya gotta wonder, though, how long it took the fisherman to tie all those knots!

Gee wiz, I'm all tied up in knots:wink:
I like the repeating patterns and bit of red I see there center-right.
The high ISO adds some 'roughness' to the ropes, makes em' look well used.
Nicely done Harley! :toast:

Harley,
This is a very interesting shot. Fun when an experiment turns out well. :toast:
