Wet and Waiting

A fledgling Bald Eagle getting drenched by the rain while patiently waiting to nab a stranded salmon as the tide went out. It's a little drab, but that's what kind of day it was. You can see how big the raindrops were by the size of the splashes!

Sony ILCE-6000, SEL55-210 @ 210, ISO-100, f6.3, 1/80, handheld.

I like this. It really captures the mood of the day.

I like the theme/birds relative size in the frame & muted color for this..
The solitary fledgling's learning patience, and the scene with large rain drops hitting the water has set the mood.
"but that's what kind of day it was."
Well done Gary :toast:
