Topsham, Devon, England

Hand held
RAW file PS6

I took several different shots of this very obliging Black Swan, full frontal, eye contact, portrait, etc. The weather was overcast cold and raining; I was getting soaked. The backlit muddy waters of the River Exe gave an appropriate setting under these gloomy conditions. For posting I chose this shot which gave a glimpse of red and the best view of the frou-frou ruffles, resplendent with raindrops.

Your crits. and suggestions are most welcome

Brrr -- looks a cold and wet to me. I like the water drops and good detail on the black feathers.-- the folds on the back feathers look very elegant
