From last Spring. Going over old files and gleaning out a few. Not much outside for the last three days—rain. :frown: I may have posted this back then, but I figure I am doing well if I can remember yesterday, let alone last May! So please forgive me if you have seen this before.

Thanks for looking. Please feel free to comment and critique.

A wonderful portrait of this beauty Phil. I really like the soft light and eye level perspective you accomplished of the egret up in a tree.

Sweet One

Real winner here Phil. You need to forget a few more and resurrect them later if this is the result. Well done.

Phil, this is stunning. The all-green canvas and OOF background highlight the bird beautifully.

All the different shades of green really makes the white and tan feathers pop just the right amount. A wonderful feel good image, very easy on the eyes.

This is gorgeous, Phil! The exposure is perfect and I like how the bird appears so soft (due to the flowing feathers) despite the sharp details. The colors are perfect and the complimentary background completes the scene and sets of the bolder evergreens in the foreground very well. Congratulations on this one! :toast: :toast:

Phil: Well I'm certainly not a bird guy but this is too good to pass. Love the subtle pastels in the feathers and the BG is wonderful. Superb image.>=))>
