The other day my wife and I rushed down to the beach to catch the sunset. The wind was ripping down the beach and I positioned myself in a cutout in the dunes to take this image. I didn't have the time to get my tripod and set it up, so I did my best to hold the camera still. I'm happy with the bit of blur I got in the beach grass - though I would have preferred more with a tripod if I had the time.

It's a fine beach sunrise/sunset, Luke. The clouds provide some great textures and interesting colors and the fact that some of the grasses show motion and others not, works well for me.

Very nice fleeting catch here, Luke. Sounds like it was a rush and last seconds to capture things. I like it as is, in fact, the bit of noise in the sky gives the feel of film texture there too.........

Looks like this is your announced # 1000 post also. Good luck on your overall thoughts into the future. Glad you were able to be a participant this long. From a previous LINY too.....

Nice sunset and an interesting sky. The bits of blur among the sharper grasses is a nice touch. Nice job in tough conditions.
