Folks,

Nancy's image reminded me of this one which I made last week. Similar wing pattern.

A Little grass hopper crashed into the party...

Just a delightful, outstanding image, Balan. I like everything about it. :toast:

Question: So what is the small insect in the BG?

Very nicely ethereal, Balan. I've never noticed a mature ant lion before, but they look to be worth noticing. The ant lion's colors coordinate well with the background. A bit more dof on the ant lion would have been nice, but we all know about that challenge.

Beautiful capture. I love the details in the wings in particular. This is a lovely bug. I'm glad you posted this because now I now my "monster" is NOT an ant-lion. Guess I'll have to work up the courage to search out a full face confrontation to get it's true identity.
