John,
Bandhavgargh has little prey for Tigers and so the Tigers go into the surrounding areas to kill "holy cows" for the want of anything else. This is made easier by the failure to maintain fences and letting people move into the reserve.
These two brothers killed some cows and were moved to a zoo, India should not really be trusted with Tiger conservation!

Very nicely executed, Ken! Love those curious eyes.
May prefer to darken the overall frame a touch.

Wow... Your comments about India should not be trusted with Tiger conservation is little too shallow. You should be more worrying about African Elephants which doesn't have good track records over there.

Butch,
I really think that a debate about the ability of India to conserve the Tiger is not something that this forum is supposed to be for.

Nice Image Ken, but lets not get into conservation issued as India is a complex country and the efforts put by all the relevant people party to wildlife and conservation under such complex conditions is tremendous and nothing short of outstanding.

I am not sure from where you got this notion but if you are not aware Indian tiger population has been on the rise and some rare incidents of tiger-human conflict cannot act as a stereotype for all.

Cheers

Upjeet,
Thanks for your comment on the image.
Just for your information I was in India just after the results of the last count were published, many people were concerned at the conclusions in particular the differing methods used between the counts and the inclusion of areas not previously counted.
