The fist dew drops have fallen here. Found this robber fly still heavy with dew all over..

I have been bumping into too many robber flies of late..

7D, 70 -200, 400 ISO, F11, 1/25

Thanks NPN for your support

This came out very nicely. Great background, diagonal perch, good detail, and, of course, the eye color is great. Well done. :toast:

Excellent detail and beautiful bg. I like the diagonal comp and the colors in the eye. Very nicely done, Balan!

Took me a bit, but then I found the dew drops, Balan. The fly is amazingly sharp (especially that eye) as is it's perch and the background very complementary. This would be an excellent image without the dew drops, but they add an fine extra touch of interest.

"I have been bumping into too many robber flies of late.." I'll trade ya a butterfly for a robber
I saw very few this past year, not sure why.
Another great robber image in your series Balan.. you cashed in nicely on this very early soft light, and the cooler morning temps.
The dew adds nicely, well done :toast:
