This female Osprey appears to be above the clouds in this image I found going thru some older files. She came flying up river below the tree line at about 12 feet off the water right past the boat. We saw her coming for half a minute or so and had plenty of time to react. Hand held, full frame with canvas removed from bottom and equal amount added to top for better positioning of subject.

Very nice pose and lighting. The larger version needs to be seen to fully appreciate this shot.

Very nice lighting and pose. I also like pattern of the cloud bank--it adds some altitude to your image :toast: .....................Jim
