I assume that because of how relatively warm it has been during my time in Zion this autumn, I have seen many more blooming Sacred Datura than I usually do at this time of year.

Jim, now I realize, looking at your well comp photo, that I missed many ops the last time I was at Zion. It is wonderful to learn from all these wonderful pictures, posted here, that there is more out there.
Beautiful capture.

Great combination of elements, Jim. Excellent Zion image and one that's a little different with the nice flowers.

Jim,
I like this more intimate view of Zion. There is interest in the fg with the flower, and the light on the mountains peaks is sweet. I like the inclusion of the sky for added depth and contrast.

Nice work on this one

Really nice find, Jim. Can't believe I wasn't looking out for these when I was there recently. I like the comp; it feels slightly crowded on the edges, but still works for me. Nicely done.
