I'm a big fan of layers and this image does them perfectly. It also works well with the sky cropped off completely.

I love layered images like this one Bill, and your capture rocks!!! The color is fantastic with the misty light purples. Such a beautiful capture, nicely done.

Nicely done, Bill. Nice to pull one from the archives that works so well. Sweet layers and colors. I could also see this with the sky cropped out.

Fantastic layers with wonderful color. I might reduce the brightness of the distant sky just a tad as it seems to draw my eye somewhat away from the stunning color and ridges. Either way though, this is awesome.

One of my favorite kinds of mountain photos with the subtle shift in hues. And the range from shadow in foreground to brightness on top well done.
