These are common pigeons in most open and arid areas of Australia. I was hoping to catch some parrots making the most of the sun's last rays but no luck.

Maybe common but definitely beautiful. Love the light and the great perch. I would pull the exposure back ever so slightly. Other than that, perfect.

Rob as soon as I looked at this I thought you could only get a sky like this in Australia, common Dove it maybe but looks spot on ,it's a clean uncluttered image that I like a lot.
Must get myself back over there.

Nice pose and though nice and warm light I would suggest to underexpose a little and see what's happening - it could make the image even stronger IMHO. Cheers, Hans
