Redwing at pool.
Good to get back snapping again. My second visit to my latest pool hide threw up this nice surprise.from Scandinavia. I didn't realise they were in around here yet so it must have been pretty recent. I still say along with Song Thrushes they are one of the shyest of birds. Move the lens the slightest bit clumsily and they are off !
Light not too good either.

Good low angle and nice environmental image John. Looks like an overcast day (in the UK? Go figure  )
I might still try and bring up the shows overall in LR and then boost the contrast a touch. Nice work still!

Will do Kurt. Certainly was an appalling day.
Completely new PC set up aftar a major over haul so will take a while to get back to normal. Ive got three pools to work now again so I,ll just keep snapping and sort later !!
Cheers

Beautiful capture John ! I like the pose and the habitat the bird is in. Details and lighting are very good too.

Beautiful, John.
I like how the BG shows the environment the bird is.

Great pose you captured of this bathing beauty John  I like the way the soft light offers up details in the bird and habitat.
