Spotted this goldfinch searching the old flower heads for food. Was able to get off a couple of shots before it left.

Nice capture and detail, John. The techs are solid. The brownish vertical line running behind the bird is a bit distracting; I assume you couldn't position yourself to get the line out of the frame.

Wonderful pose and very nice sharpness in the details. I agree with Jim's suggestion and also might bump the brightness up just a bit. Seems a tad dark to me. :toast:

Sweet lighting and nice pose John. I'd clone out the dark line across the bird and also the right hand flower and position the bird closer to the right and add more canvas to the left. :smile:
