Juvenile Clark's grebe + repost

Nice techs on this one Govind. I like the wingspread and the light is terrific. Personally, I don't think the reflection adds anything to this image since it has no details and if it were mine, I would crop about half the bottom FG out. Still nice work!

I agree with Kurt. Very nice shot in many aspects, but would be better with the crop he suggested.

Hi Govind, I agree with the crop suggestion, the reflection doesn't justify the open space on the lower frame. The grebe looks good and sharp, the water looks very much like fall. This would be a great image with the crop fixed.

Thanks all for the feedback. Here's a recomp with less of the reflection, but a little more of the background. I am interested to know if this works better.

Also agree that a different crop would add much to this lovely shot.

Govind, that's a huge improvement in my opinion. It has a much more balanced feel to it. Very nice image!

Another vote for the repost, Govind. Very nice capture of a subadult, and great pose and light.

Fiine action take. I'm wondering if the water were somewhat lighter the bird's edge feathers would be less obscured.
