Cyclamens are arrived

Cyclamens are the king of the flowers in autumn and winter.

In a plot in our garden, early in the morning, back lit against a light covered sky.

D800E, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/22 and ISO 360

Thanks for your opinions and advises.

This is a tough one to critique for me. I like the individual parts, but the whole feels flat to me. Maybe it's just me! Still, and excellent product.

Excellent on many levels Gigi! I love the high-key BG. I love the variance in the BG. The colors and attitudes of the bloom are great. Well done!

Gorgeous image, Gigi. I really like the highkey color combination. This may work as a vertical comp too, I think. :toast:

Thanks Phil for telling me your thought. You are right, the image is flat: in fact I lowered the contrast trying to create a bit of pictorial look; I also added less color saturation, more light, two pixel of softness. I hope that you can feel my aim.
Thanks again Phil.

Beautifully done. I like the "artistic" feel to this. Can't wait for cyclamens arrive at our local nursery.

Gigi: Without doubt one of the finest cyclamen shots I've seen in some time. Superb BG and a fine comp. >=))>

Delightful, Gigi ! The flowers suggest to me a chorus in a ballet - a wonderfully vital image !!
