A deer portrait facing left made of a patch of newly grown aspen trees amongst burnt pines in Jemez Mountains, NM. I thought that this natural illusion symbolized the cry of the forest over the 2011 massive wildfire in the area, and at the same time the re-birth of the forest.

A very good story telling photograph! Even if there was no "deer image" the photo clearly shows re-growth after a serious fire. Thanks for sharing.
