Small, smaller, smallest

Wild climber. I think it's a Mustang Grape vine, native to Texas, but not sure. The attractively shaped bright green leaves against the color of the stem got my attention.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks as always for taking a look and for your comments.

I love the shape of the leaves and the colors (as you mentioned). For me, the comp is just not moving me a whole lot. Not sure what it would need. I do like the feeling of movement - just seems that it needs more of it.

Sanjay: Cool find and I like how the vine meanders through the frame and the leaves have slightly different orientations. Well seen. How did you get the BG? >=))>

Thanks Bill. The vine was growing on a bush, so I covered part of the bush behind the vine with a black drop cloth and took the shot.

Well done, Sanjay. Well seen and good use of the light and dark bg. The small, red, curly stems accent the green, and I like the overall curved presentation. Works for me.

Sanjay:

Lovely image. Works for me. Apart from gradation of the size of the leaves, I also like the gradation of the light from top to bottom. :toast:
