One more image from my last year's trip to the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica. This is a gentoo penguin emerging from the sea. Note the orange reflection of its feet against its lower abdomen.
Species: Gentoo penguin
Location:

Equip: Canon 1Dx, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 lens at 200 mm
Specs: ISO 1000, f5.6, 1/4000s, Evaluative metering with +1 exp comp, Aperture priority, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley

Thank you for taking the time out to look, and for your comments/ critiques.

A well taken shot. The interesting thing I will take away from this is the awkwardness of the walking penguin, using its flippers to counterbalance its waddle.
