Way to extinction?

Another image from my trip to the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica on the Joe Van Os safaris last November. These are two King Penguins walking away, leaving behind footprints in the sands (of time?). I wanted to show how, if we are not careful about protecting the planet from global warming, these penguins and others like them can soon become extinct.
Species: King Penguins (Aptenodytes patagonicus)
Location: South Georgia
Date: Nov, 2013
Equip: Canon 5D Mk3, Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens at 98mm
Specs: ISO 2500, f4.0, 1/1000s, Spot metering, +0.67 exp comp, shutter priority, hand-held

Thank you for taking the time out to look, and for your comments/critiques.

Nice image.... Brings back memories - I was there during slide film age. Don't know however about the ice & snow of South Georgia.. a beach is a beach.. At any rate a very nice and appealing image ! Well done ! Cheers, Hans

I love this Ajit. The footprints make this composition works nicely. I hope to see one before they become extinct ! :toast:
