Here is a more "intimate" version of the greeting, it would have been nice to get more of the lionesses eyes but it just did not happen. Taken on the Ngweshla Plains, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Nice one Ken. Both cats are in sharp focus and are positioned against a complimentary and clean background. Being able to see the entire body of the male shows his size and strength. Do you have an image with just a bit more room on the left? Richard

Well done. They are nicely posed in a classical compositional shape, too. If this is cropped, I think maybe a bit more space would be pleasing.

The low angle sets the big guy off against the sky very nicely. He is about 1.5 times her size!
