Morning Dew

Common Cottontail, early morning.
This was basically a 'test' shot the day after my body came back from Canon for repair.
I hadn't checked the settings, so it was shot in jpeg. I then converted to TIFF in Canon DPP, compounding the mistake.
F/7.1, 1/200th, ISO 800, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 2x ext around 8:00am

Great pose. I even like the partially-obscuring foreground grasses. I might warm up the color balance a bit.

Aptly name...I like the interest added by the dew drops. I don't mind the grasses so much, but the bit that crosses so near the eye becomes somewhat a distraction. I don't understand the horizontal lines I am seeing in the background and reflections around the cottontail, as it shot through a screen or other glass?

Horizontal lines are shorter BG grasses, leaning to the right Lon. I did not clone anything.
Just to the left out of frame is a small run-off stream from our pond..
Through glass? Not here, although I have done it in the past
