Thank you for your comments on my recent image postings! I always appreciate your suggestions.

This is the last of my Manzanita bark images. I wanted to do more, but we had rain that knocked off a lot of the bits of curling bark.

This is the best so far for me. However you processed it, it appears to have more depth and a 3d look to it.
Nice work.

This might be my favorite, as well. Great abstract pattern to it and a nice metallic glow. Beautiful.

This is by far my favorite of the series, Preston. Such a cool abstract. I love the range of tones and the copper metal look. Looks like chips from my buddies machine shop when he works with copper or bronze. :toast:

Bet you were glad to see the rain even if it did finish off your barking for this year. I like this one for how you're back to seeing around the curve of the trunk. That adds a fine but subtle touch of reality. This is my favorite also.

Have had precious little time to comment lately, but this is my favorite of your recent curl images. Such a neat tree and a beautiful capture.

Super 3d on this one. Dig it. Looks like some nice soft bright light.

I think I like this one the best Preston. I particularly like the increased density of the curls and the diagonal tonal gradient running through the vertical. Gorgeous...
