Actually more like Trout Pond on the South side of Mt. Adams, Washington state.
This was last evening and it was just the beginning. 2 hours of a cloud lifting sunset.
Fall color just beginning in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a very crisp scene, Dan. Love the light on the fall colors and the clouds are awesome. I might crop this to just above the large cloud on the left, as I think the symmetry works a little better. Pretty darn nice regardless.

As much as I like the landmass and reflection I think the clouds and sky might almost be as impressive, Dan. No thoughts for change here on this image, a nicely photographed scene.

Nice Dan! The side light works very well here in this really serene scene. Looks like those trees will look really nice in a week or so but still really nice here. Great, natural color.

This is a very nice, crisp Autumn scene, Dan. The light is quite nice. I really like the sky, but I wish Mt. Adams was not centered in the frame. So, I suggest cropping from the right a bit. The hints a fall color add a nice dimension to the image.
