Nubble Light

I visited Nubble Light yesterday around noon - was unhappy about the time of day but not much I could do about that. The clear blue skies were nice - though overcast would have let me be a bit more creative. Either way, I dealt with what I had.

Nikon D7100 12-24mm HH @ 16mm
f/22
1/10S
ISO 100
CPL filter

Full Frame, processed in LR5 and Perfect Effects 8

**dust spots gave me some trouble around the telephone wires.

Luke, I really like the foreground here. The water flowing over the rocks pulls me into the scene and gives the feeling of actually being there.

The centered comp works well. It could be sharper.

Luke, This is very nice! I like your comp here and for a mid-day shot it actually works quite nice for me. I think it has a pleasing and inviting feel. Makes me want to be there.
