This is a part of Nevada that I was shocked to discover, in the Ruby Mountains near Elko. It's alpine, with loads of aspen, clear streams, and peaks.

Canon 5d, M3, ISO100, 24mm, f/22, 1/4 sec.

Thanks in advance for any comments and critiques.

Beautiful scene, nicely composed. I might consider reducing the blue a little.

Lovely, inviting scene, Kathy. Yes, there are lots of neat spots that are relatively unknown and fun to discover. I like the flow in the river and how it leads back to the sunlight peaks. I wish that bush wasn't there in the lower right, but the scene sure makes it look impossible to avoid.

What a beautiful gem of a place Kathy. Well composed, and the exposure works for both the BG peaks and the water - lovely
