I am assured that when the sun shines this is a truly remarkable sight, it was pretty good even allowing for the lack of light.
Taken in the Skilpad section of Namaqualand National Park, South Africa.

I like the color Ken and I think I've been shooting under cloudy skies for months now. The only thing I might consider is a crop from the top to better emphasize the fg and move the comp more towards a rule of thirds.

Ken, This is quite a view and I really enjoy the color. It must have been impressive being there to see this and it makes me wish I was. I think the clouds work nice here as well. Probably would be impressive in some sunlight too. Very nice!

I like the flower field find and think the sky is not much to emphasize. Pano crop ?? :toast:

Ken, Back for another look and although I like the sky ok the pano crop works very nice on this as suggested by Pat and Rick. I did a scroll crop and it does emphasize the field of flowers quite nice. Taking it all the way down to the darker clouds does look pretty cool and after seeing it like that I do prefer it. A different look for an an already nice image. Nick

That's an amazing field of flowers set against a nicely stormy sky. You're comp. does make it seem like you aren't sure whether the sky or the flowers are the most important part of the image. Personally, I'd emphasize the flowers and I'd look for a higher vantage point, which would make it easier to extend the flowers high into the frame.

Looking at this again following your comments I agree regarding the composition, I do not have much more at the bottom, I should have knelt down!
I do have another which has more flowers which I will try to post today. :toast: :toast:

I like your new image, but I like this one, too. I agree about cropping some of the sky in this one. There's lots of space and drama, here.
