First Autumn Color

I went out to enjoy a beautiful fall day this morning. Cool, in the 50's and sunny. I just took my G15 with me because I just wanted to enjoy the day and it was about 8:30 so the light was not very good. I found one cottonwood tree that was changing color and look very pretty. The wind had started to pick up so I thought I might try shooting some blurs. I shot a bunch of this tree and came out with 3 or 4 that I am happy with and this is one. Thanks for your comments and critiques. I also got to watch several bighorn sheep.

Canon G15
Manual
Shutter 1/15
Aperture f8
ISO 80
30.5mm
I set the internal ND filter to slow down the shutter speed
Slight processing in Lightroom 4

Neat! Fine diagonal Richard, with a really nice effect from the 'scallop' - curves - running throughout. As an added bonus - it sounds like you had a wonderful day too :toast:
