It's (photography) all about the light, and this is a great example. The soft light of sunset makes this scene a standout. When viewed large, the water trail from the giraffe's mouth becomes much more apparent and adds an interesting detail. Getting both animals in focus while still blurring the background is executed very well here. My only nit might be to have more room at the bottom. Richard

Sweet light, great subjects posing nicely for you Ken. Love the water drips. A wonderful scene as is, but I find myself wishing for more room on the bottom too.

Sweet light and lovely implied motion from the water dribbles. The re-post is much better, but the work on the photo is terrific. I'm very impressed with the depth of field you got with the zoom all the way tight and the 1.4 teleconverter.
