This small backyard bunny was not as hidden as it may have thought!

I like your composition and the bunny needs more vegetation for concealment. There is some noise in the background and you could work on that as my only nit. ........................Jim

Hi John,
Cute how the bunny is peering out. If this were mine I think I'd crop some off the left side of the image, including that entire OOF leaf in the upper left corner. This would get the eye out of the middle and leave a more consistent dark background throughout the image. It looks to me like you've got a fair degree of "false colour" in the head of the subject (similar to moire but caused by a slightly different reason) - this is common on close-ups of small mammals and can normally be cleaned up by colour noise reduction.
Cheers...

Thanks for your comments. I have added a repost following as best I can Brads suggestions. This is a jpeg image, doubt if the overall quality can be improved considering the camera used.

Hey John,
The crop you used is a lot tighter than I suggested (or thought I suggested) - was just thinking about removing a slice off the left side (up to the end of the green and brown leaf in the upper left corner). I think this new crop is a bit on the excessive side (with respect to showing lens and/or camera limitations).

Cute pose and framing. I agree totally with Brad about the crop from the left side.

Sorry Brad, I got carried away with the crop tool. I think this is more what you had in mind.

A cute shot, John. The photo forces you to some hard cropping choices. Your original post shows most effectively the bunny "hiding." Subsequent crops get rid of the large, OOF leaf, but cost you some of the photo's charm by cutting out how ineffectively the rabbit is "hiding." A hard choice.
