Three years after several fires raced through this area north of Huntsville, Texas the stark landscape remains. 2011 was so dry and hot with over 40 days of plus 100 degree days the area was hit by 5 different wildfires. :redface:

Hey Rick,
The mood of this image portrays the situation perfectly. I like the framing you chose with a nice POV as the field leads the viewer directly towards that lovely sky and the fence adds additional interest to the overall composition.
