This is image #27 from my first digital camera, taken in the fall of 2006. It attempts to capture one of my favorite activities, sitting quietly in the midst of a stream immersed in the sounds and sights of a natural area. (5D, 24-70 f2.8 @ 34mm, 1/60s, f/6.3, iso 400, polarizer) Best viewed large (or very large via the purchase print link).

Looks like a wonderfully peaceful location. When the rat race world overwhelms us it's amazing how an escape to Nature can suddenly make the world right again. Thanks for sharing! :toast:

Mark, this is truly a neat reflection back for me. There is a location in the eastern sierras that looks just like this spot. And yes, it gives this same strong feeling of peace and tranquility when I'm there.

An excellent fall season post and we're almost at that time of year too. :cool:

I don't think there is anything more beautiful than a gentle running autumn stream, you definitely caught a warm tranquil mood with this pretty little scene Mark. Beautiful.

Very peaceful and nicely captured, Mark. I can hear the water and smell the fall foliage when viewing the larger version!
