Near Second Beach, Olympic National Park, WA

I was thinking of Mr. Birdwell while taking this photo, but his are usually more "alive".

Raw file processed in LR5, with TK resize/sharpening for web.
Canon T3i, 2.5 s, f/10, ISO 200, EF 24-105 mm @ 32 mm, CPL

Seeking any and all advice and comments. Thanks in advance.

Striking composition Ronald. The wood in the left corner might be a bit sharper for my tastes but certainly not a deal breaker. Good looking image.

The sweeping lines of the fallen tree pull me into the image rather nicely, Ronald. My only suggestion; and this is just a personal preference; would be a crop from the bottom of about half of the darker tree in the BG.

The sweep of the trunk and all of its textures work very well here Ronald. The color contrasts between the breen moss and the red wood work well also. The dark, slightly oof wood in the bottom left is a minor distraction that has me wondering about either less dof or possibly raising the view. The suggested crop could work also, but I do like the sweeping S curve and cropping takes that away.
