It is not really a Scottish waterfall. This Magic Cloth shot was made here. Iceland

This is great. I like the dark tones and the forbidding feel of this landscape.

Beautiful, rich image. The magic cloth works well, but it does push toward longer shutter speeds. I prefer a little more detail in the water.

Beautiful scene Tony. Strong composition and gorgeous light. Iceland is really the only place I've wanted to travel to other than the North American continent and your images are making it harder to stay home. I like this a lot.

Nice work, Tony. Really enjoyed the video (as well as the image). I haven't tried this technique yet, but will look for a chance soon. :toast:

Very nice shot, Tony. I really enjoyed your video and will have to give it a shot when conditions are right. Nice low tech solution to tough light conditions. No shortage of sweet spots in Iceland for this technique. Cool. :toast:

This is a really cool tony. A great shot and really like the low-technique :) I have done something similar when I hover a 77mm filter over a 67mm lens instead of buying a 67mm lens. My question is about image quality. The camera must be capturing your shirt as dark pixels and I am thinking that they would blend in with the pixels for the scene and perhaps make it more muddy. Different than a dark ND filter since although it is very dark, there is no obstruction through the dark glass to the subject. Maybe I am thinking about this in the wrong way... your thoughts?
