Powder Mountain

While in Utah for a few days of work back in July, I was taken up to Powder Mountain Ski Area above Eden one evening. This is a stack of 3 f/8 images for depth of field and a blend of another for sky exposure taken at f/22. The red smoky skies were due to fires in Idaho a the time.

Doug, nice clean sharp image that captures a great evening glow. Great starburst too!

This is beautiful, Doug. The hazy atmospherics add so much depth plus I expect that they're also responsible for the sunstar, which is a great addition to the scene.

Really well done, Doug. One instance where the haze is a plus and you knew exactly how to deal with it. Very nice. :toast:

Thank you for the comments. Wind motion caused a few artifacts with using Zerene, so a little hand blending was required.
